Life With Baby

So week two has officially started with little Ronin. He is such a sweet little guy! He's been sleeping through the nights like a pro. I've got him on a pretty consistent sleep schedule, which is helping. I'm beginning to feel like my old self again, aside from a serious case of getto-bootie! I even ventured out of the house today, just me and the kids. We went out to breakfast, then went to Old Navy so that I could get some jeans to contain my getto-bootie. It went rather well, for us.
Ronin is still eating like a pro, and hopefully my body will catch up with him soon! It's been hard adjusting to nursing again. Marley isn't quite sure what's going on with that. She will tell me randomly things that babies are supposed or not supposed to do. She keeps telling me things like "Babies don't eat parents." or "Babies don't eat people." like it's the most obvious thing in the world. It's wonderful when you're three-year-old talks to you condescendingly! She has been coming up with the funniest phrases lately. Yesterday we were at Sears at the check-out, and she ran over to a rack of sunglasses, put a pair on, and called over to me and Ben "Hey, check it out!". Another funny one was "Cinderella's stepsisters are rockin out with Hanna Tana". I don't know what's worse, the fact that she used the term "rockin out" or that she knows who Hanna Montana is!
As for Ben, he is totally in love with Ronin! It's so sweet the way he obsesses over that kid! I know it's been really hard for him to go back to work. He is the classical over protective worrisome father, but it suits him well. In fact, tonight was the first night he's even thought about playing video games since Ronin was born. For those of you who do not know Ben well, video games are his passion. I couldn't ask for a better husband than Ben, he was born to be a father.
