So this morning Ben had to go to work early. As he was leaving, Marley woke up. I was so tired, so I had him give her breakfast, and put on Barney so I could rest a little longer. Marley usually does pretty good, she'll come in to check on me every half hour or so. Anyway, she came in and said "Mama, I cut my hair!". From what I could see, it was really thin on one side. I told her to go have a time out on her chair, and I put on my glasses to assess the damage. I started walking down my long hallway, and I saw clumps of hair trailing all down it! Then I got the Marley's room and there was a pile of hair on the floor. It got worse and worse as I walked through the house. I was devastated. I finally got to Marley, sitting on her chair in the dining room. As I ran my fingers through her hair clumps of it came out in my hands! I wanted to cry and throw up at the same time. I didn't know what to do! She had a semi-mullet, with bald spots here and there. All of the hair was so thin! I put her in the bathtub and rinsed the rest out. I then decided the only thing to do was to chop it all off. I had to take about 4 inches off! This is a whole lot for Marley's hair. I've been growing it out since she was born, and it just doesn't grow very fast at all! So now it's about 2 inches long all over. Lucy, I don't think even Hallie has done anything quite this extreme!

Marley's newer haircut
